We designed the Packrod® specifically for fishing from a seated position.  This is how much thought we put into our designs.  Much of the fishing from kayaks, canoes, tubes and smaller boats is from the seated position.  The Packrod® has a very short handle so that casting and reeling can be accomplished with the anglers arms and pole closer to the body without the handle digging into or bumping the anglers body.

What we have found is that anglers love these because they are so compact and yet effective and are being used on jet skis, surf boards, float planes as well as all of the applications mentioned above.

The Packrod® is one of our smallest rigs and is an excellent choice for backpacking.

The Packrod Cast can be used with most closed face cast and baitcast reels.
